A year of preparation
Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance
Fashion Shows are nerve recking. There’s a lot going on at one time. The beauty of the chaos is you are able to show your art. Not in the look at my Fashion, but presentation of creation is a language spoken with the fabric.

When I prepare for shows I always try to go with some type of theme. The theme has to capture street culture in the area or theme of the Fashion show.
In my understanding art is a form of self expression. In preparing I take into consideration the form of my presentation. The delivers a strong message. I feel the message is very important.
The knowledge of the presentation and message allow for me to direct delivery in messaging. From the first Fashion show I have done until now the presentation and message has changed. I take notes and leave messages to connect the growing in our history of the brand. The importance of the message is up to you.
When playing sports I always watched film. The film gives you an advantage if you focus on the details of the game. This is to get every advantage to win. Every team takes this measure for the outcome to preserve their survival of victory.
I take this same approach in Fashion. The preparation is for the message to be clear The Art Presentation to be exciting and touch a feeling.
Preparation seems to be boring, but with the chaos Fashion brings it gives you a guide. For shows there are always things that come up, for example: the music not played, models don’t show on time, etc… These are just a few things that occurs during a show.
It’s very important to maintain emotional poise. The models are nervous to walk and to be considered for future shows.
I think preparation is depending on the person. The best way to approach this hurdle is to see what makes you the most frustrated? Manage the frustration and then you will continue to prepare a successful show.
Fashion shows are always hot so bring water and relax as much as possible because if you live for the Art it always showtime.
Prepare to be your best & leave everything else to the rest.
